Diagnostic imaging reports:
Standard turn around time for final reports on non urgent submissions is typically same day or next morning and under 24 hours with preliminary reports sent earlier by email or fax to your facility earlier upon request. STAT report requests can be accommodated within 15 minutes to an hour depending on your need and radiologist availability. Phone calls are made on ALL cases with significant clinical findings.
Fee Schedule
X-ray reports for MPI and WCB in Manitoba are direct billed with approved claim number and date of injury. Manitoba Health requests for imaging such as ultrasound are accepted HOWEVER we cannot invoice them at this time and your exam must be paid for at the time of service.
X-ray reports : $20/body region (excludes MPI/WCB)
Reports on MRI/CT/other advanced imaging: $40/body region
Second opinion reports on multiple studies: Single study second opinion reports are on the same fee schedule above. Fee schedule for second opinions where multiple studies and study types are submitted for review will vary depending on the type and number studies submitted.

Submissions for Readings
Studies to be interpreted on film or stored on CD/USB/other media can be sent by mail/courier to us at:

Some provinces/states offer patients access to their imaging via Pocket Health, including Manitoba. Please see our FAQ page for details on how to access Pocket Health (under second opinion reports).
Need X-rays Done? Referral Locations for Imaging
Need a site to refer patients for x-rays? If you are using your Manitoba Health card please search out your local medical radiology facility. For patients with requests for MPI or WCB claims, or patients willing to pay out of pocket or via private/third party insurer, our friends at the following locations accept referrals on behalf of Atlas Radiology. Please contact them directly about their rates and scheduling:
- Interpretation of diagnostic imaging, including X-ray, CT, and MRI.
- Primary interpretation final reports
- Second opinion reports
- Preliminary reports or wet-reads/pre-reader
- Teleradiology
- Post graduate continuing education seminars
- Private Diagnostic NMSK ultrasound
